The GRSP was established in the year 1971 with a Post Graduate degree in Master's in City and Regional Planning (MCRP).

At present the School offer following courses:

      B Tech Urban and Regional Planning ( Graduate Four year)

      M Tech Urban Planning (Post Graduate Two year course)

      M  Plan (Infrastructure) Master's of Infrastructure Planning A new Course commenced in the year 2008.

Research-- The school has part time and regluar research leading to Ph D degree.
